Saudi Arabia rolls out Ramadan 2026 hotel offers
Saudi Arabia’s tourism authority has launched a series of limited-time hotel pricing offers across the Kingdom’s Red Sea and AlUla destinations for Ramadan 2026.
The packages are part of a broader tourism initiative aimed at increasing international and regional hotel demand during the holy month and supporting wider tourism growth under Vision 2030.
The announcement highlights special hotel pricing, extended stays and cultural experiences designed to appeal to hospitality buyers, travel trade partners and international hotel markets.
Offers are available at multiple properties and include discounts on room rates and related services during the Ramadan period.
The Saudi Tourism Authority, operating under its consumer-facing brand Saudi, Welcome to Arabia, rolled out more than 35 curated hotel packages for early 2026 to coincide with Ramadan.
These offers encompass special pricing across over a dozen hotels and resorts in The Red Sea and AlUla regions. Discounts vary by property, with some hotel partners offering rate reductions of up to 45 per cent on stays.
Participating accommodations include luxury and boutique properties such as Banyan Tree AlUla, Our Habitas AlUla, Ashar Tented Resort, Chedi Hegra and Shaden Resort, with additional packages in coastal settings such as Desert Rock and Shebara.
Industry sources note that these pricing incentives are intended to make hotel stays more attractive during Ramadan — a period when travel preferences often shift toward cultural discovery, heritage tourism and wellness experiences linked to the season.
The Ramadan 2026 hotel offers arrive at a time of notable tourism growth in Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom reported exceeding 122 million visitors in 2025, reflecting wider efforts to establish itself among the world’s key tourism markets.
Travel trade analysts say the Ramadan hotel deals provide global wholesalers and regional operators with seasonal inventory that could attract both leisure and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) segments.
Ramadan in Saudi Arabia is marked by a rhythm of daytime quiet and vibrant evening activity, which hospitality providers see as an opportunity to sell cultural programming, group bookings and experiential stays.
Hotels in AlUla during Ramadan are also integrating local cultural events, curated Iftar and Suhoor offerings, and heritage experiences that reflect the long-term positioning of the destination as both a heritage tourism hub and a lifestyle travel market.
