Rihanna’s Boat Excursion Calls for Statement Accessories

Winter is well underway—just not for Rihanna.

The singer and mogul is escaping the chill in her native Barbados, where she’s been taking advantage of the warm weather. On today’s agenda? A boating excursion. But don’t expect a basic swimsuit or beachy coverup here.

Rihanna’s yacht trip called for statement accessories aplenty. Along with a black long-sleeve, zip-up bodysuit, and black visor shades, she wore a pair of Puma flip-flops. But these weren’t just any beach shoe: her thong sandal featured cleat-style heels. That was far from the only eccentric accessory, either. Rih toted a Jeremy Scott Longchamps Le Pliage bag featuring a tightly cropped Madballs monster, appropriately named Skull Face.

But, while Rih also brought a touch of glamour to her eclectic look. She added a handful of rings, an anklet, an ear cuff, and a sizable gold medallion necklace strung onto a thick chain. The pièce de résistance lived on her wrist: a gold Elsa Peretti Tiffany & Co. bone cuff.
