Clipse Just Unveiled the Cleanest Adidas Sambas of 2025
Clipse have been cooking. Pusha T and Malice’s first record in 16 years, Let God Sort Em Out, dropped last week to widespread critical acclaim, following a generational promotional rollout that saw them crush an NPR Tiny Desk Concert, talk their shit on a Reddit AMA, and link up with GQ’s own Frazier Tharpe for a series of internet-breaking interviews. All of it has served as cold, hard proof that the 757’s finest have hardly lost a step.
Just because the album is out now, however, doesn’t mean that Pusha or Malice are slowing down. Amidst one of the noisier months in their career, they’re also tapping in with one of of Pusha’s longtime collaborators: Adidas. The rapper has been working with the brand since 2012, dropping a ton of signature colorways on established Three Stripes silhouettes over the years (there are few guys who could get us to genuinely consider buying a pair of Ozweegos—Push is one of them). The brothers also served as part of the brand’s Paris Fashion Week festivities a few weeks ago, walking in Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton show and hitting the town laced up in their boy’s newest Adidas silhouette, the Jellyfish. To commemorate the release of LGSEO, the duo have once again paired up with the Stripes for a commemorative colorway—easily the best of Push’s tenure with the brand.
If anything could cure our nation’s Samba fatigue, it’s a pair designed by the Clipse—and by the looks of it, the duo seem to have indeed found the antidote. Rather than the standard-issue silhouette, Push and Malice chose to put their stamp on a Samba LT, the long-tongued version of the Stripes’ greatest staple. They’ve dressed the shoe up in a matte off-white leather with contrasting, ahem, snow white stripes for a simple, elevated look. The Adidas box logo adorns the side of each shoe, with the Clipse logo beneath it. As a finishing touch, a “THORN” emblem is hidden on the underside of the fold-over tongue, a play on the brothers’ last name of Thornton.
While a shock-drop for early access has come and gone, general release details on the Clipse x Adidas Samba LT have yet to surface. Right now, there’s just a landing page for them on letgodsortemout.com, where fans can sign up for email notifications about the drop. When it happens, act fast—we have a feeling these aren’t going to sit on the proverbial shelf for more than a few minutes.
