Looks Like Bad Bunny Has Another Smash Adidas Sneaker on the Way

It’s a good time to be Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican sensation’s latest album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS—a celebration of the music of his native country—is a smash hit. He’s headlining a month-long blockbuster residency in San Juan that’s garnering rave reviews. His role in Happy Gilmore 2? As hilarious as expected. All the while he’s continued his fruitful partnership with Adidas: Benito’s smash-hit Ballerina silhouette has already paved the way for one of the more inescapable sneaker trends of 2025, and just yesterday, the artist gave the world a sneak peek at his latest, greatest Stripes collab.

As part of the festivities surrounding the San Juan residency, Bad Bunny and Adidas brought the Mercedes-Benz AMG Petronas Formula 1 squad into the mix. The team’s latest car is being assembled down in Puerto Rico to commemorate Bad Bunny’s appointment as an honorary reserve driver for the squad. While his eyes stayed on the car in the garage, our eyes immediately fell to his kicks, a preview of what’s to come from Adidas Para Bad Bunny.

While few details on the new shoes are available, they appear to tap into another dominant 2025 sneaker trend: the torpedo shoe. These are sleek silhouettes that draw inspiration from ’70s runners like the Adidas SL 72 or Nike Air Tailwind. We’ve seen big-name sneaker collaborators like Tyler, the Creator get in on torpedo shoes in 2025 and it seems Bad Bunny’s getting in the mix as well. The upper features earthy tones of beige and clay with a sort of quilted pattern laid over top. These are paired with vibrant orange stripes and a maroon tongue, with pink laces for an additional pop of color. The heel bears the Adidas Para Bad Bunny logo.

Bad Bunny has already dropped a hyper-limited pack of Adidas Gazelles to celebrate the residency, with each colorway drawing inspiration from a city on the island. Two of the three have been exclusively available in Puerto Rico. While no release details or information surrounding the potential exclusivity of the shoes are available, we’re sure it won’t be long before the information makes its way to the public.
